Appointment types are descriptions of appointments and their average duration. When making an appointment the user can select an appointment type as a way of indicating what the appointment is for and to automatically fill the duration field of the appointment. See the appointment window.
Types of Appointment Tab
The Types of Appointment tab is where all appointment types can be viewed and maintained by the user. To open the tab the user needs to click on the User button (showing the user's email address) in the top margin, select DiaryBook Settings sub-menu and click on Appointment Types.
The tab consists of the following:

The grid contains the list of all Appointment Types created for the account.

This section describes the fields in the Appointment Type window. The Appointment Type window allows the user to add new types and to edit existing ones.
Opening the Appointment Type Window
To add an appointment type the user clicks on the plus icon in the tool bar within the Type of Appointments tab. To edit an appointment type the user can either double-click the type in the grid or highlight the type in the grid and click on the pencil icon
